Crown Lifting
Crown Lifting is the process of removing selected branches/limbs from the lower part of the tree. This raises the tree canopy above the ground level and thus helps increase the light under the tree. crown lifting cork is also done to remove intrusive branches from roads, street lights and over buildings.
Crown Thinning
Thinning is the selective removal of secondary branches within the canopy. A quality crown thinning work would increase air movement, enhance light penetration through the crown and, as a result, would improve the structure. Crown Reduction reduces the size of a tree. Reducing a tree’s height or spread is best accomplished by pruning back the leaders and branch terminals to secondary branches that are large enough to assume the terminal roles (at least one-third the diameter of the cut stem).
